About 10:30 am I received a call from Eric that Lance had been in a snowmobile accident. He didn't know how badly he was hurt and they were not going to move him but waiting for search and rescue to arrive. We may have to start paying monthly dues to these guys:)!Lance was on his snowmobile, not going very fast when the tip of his snowmobile ski hit a buried fence post, which stopped him and he flew over the top, landing on his back on another fence post. Had he been going a bit faster he probably would have missed the post altogether.
They took him to Heber Hospital and did a lot of x-rays on him that were all coming back with nothing wrong. Lance insisted that it was something more so they did a CT on him and found 4 broken ribs and luckily that was all.
I was very nervous for the 6-8 week recovery for him and also for me and the many weeks of him being on the couch but he was great. He was down about 4 days then up and going. He is all better and will no longer be snowmobiling!!!
