CRAZY 2010

I have never been so excited for a year to be over than I was for this one! This year, I am sure, has been the hardest since we got married 10 years ago. We both have been drained emotionally, financially, physically, sexually and every other way possible (although I think that is all the ways). Basically our theme this year was jump and hope like hell it was the right decision! And I believe it was!!!
Lance is working for a new company and painting occasionally! This was kind of a forced change with the economy tanking. He is so excited about his new job and is loving it. He is still what you call freelancing but hoping to be permanent soon. I am just as happy as Lance is to no longer do payroll, collect bills and deal with employees. I am looking forward to so many new opportunities, to not do paperwork and spend hours on hold or to allow one thing to ruin my entire day. I really lost a part time job by shutting down the company, Hallelujah!
With the company shutting down we also got rid of our health insurance last January. Our premium was almost $700.00 a month without dental. INSANE! So yea we went an entire year without insurance luckily with nothing big happening and saved $8500.00 just in premiums, and only spent $650.00 total on health care. SO CRAZY, another jacked up thing in the world right now! With no insurance comes no babies. I was a little worried about the age gap between Ava and the next one but I am over it now. Really over it cause I am holding off till Sept now, got to run Redrock first, Priorities People!
Lance and I really have a great marriage and especially for me to say I am still so much in love with him after being together for 17 years. More years together than apart. That is big but it was a hard year on our relationship and I think we are both ready for a few changes. To move things to the next level (not sure what exactly that means or what exactly I am after but something) I know I am a perfectionist and crazy too but I want my marriage to be just as great as it can be!
Really we experienced so many changes this last year and many I would rather be done talking about and I am sure a few of you would rather quit hearing about. Although I LOVE YOU for listening. Of course I am not putting all the crap in my blog but I do want bits and pieces that will spark my memory on what happened this year. I hope that we are so close to leaving all the bull shit behind and can focus on everything new!

I do not really make the traditional resolutions I guess but we do love to set some goals or maybe things we want to do or maybe buy in the next year. So....
*love to take my running to the next level (again whatever that means???)
*really try to read much more with the girls and also myself
*get pregnant
*a new truck for lance
*get a few (a lot really) home improvements done, including a garden this spring
*get my blog into books
*much more boffing ;)
*learn to sew
*I think this is more of an ongoing goal cause I am horrible at it but trying to be more sympathetic with Lance and the girls. I am more of a "suck it up" mom and wife but at least I am trying, right?
*I would also love to get a date night and girls night in the mix on a continuous basis which kind of goes along with LOTS MORE PLAYING!
There it is!
