SPRING BREAK AND BIRTHDAY

We had a great week for spring break. I actually felt like we did some fun things instead of watching TV or running errands. It is amazing how the warm weather can make us feel so much happier.

WEDNESDAY: We met Becky and the boys at Kangaroo Zoo. We were there most of the morning and then came home for naps.

FRIDAY: We walked to Bonneville Park which is about 3 miles away. It took about 45 minutes to get there. It was so nice to walk and to get some sun. Meg had so much fun with all the kids. After the park, we got about half way home when Lance picked us up, then we went to dinner at Pizza Factory. Ava is now eating everything so no more packing baby food and bottles. YEAH! That night Lance and I watched Death at a Funeral(a British film). We were after something funny and the guy at Hollywood recommended it. Lance slept and I laughed a few times. Not on our to buy list!

SATURDAY: We watched The Water Horse in the morning with the girls. It was good and not to scary for Meg. Then we were off on a bike ride. Meg rides behind Lance on her half bike while I take Ava in the trailer. I thought for sure Ava would sleep most of the time. We left at 11 and she did not fall asleep until 2:30 and we got home at almost 4. Figures! We went to feed the ducks but they were not there so we had lunch at the park instead. After the ride, Lance and Meg had a nap while I followed Ava.

SUNDAY: BLESSING AND 1ST BIRTHDAY

I started out the morning making the cakes for Avas 1st birthday and then to Mike and Lezs church for Lanies blessing. Meg was the naughtiest in sacrament. Everyone was out in the hall with their babies and I was there with my 4 year old. A quick trip to the bathroom for Brady to throw up and we were off. Lanies blessing was great and her dress was so darling. Then home to frost cakes.

AVA is 1! It is crazy how fast it goes. She did pretty well at opening presents. She got some some new farm animals, baby tigger, books, pool, and clothes. Meg was hiding Avas new toys so she could not get them. I made her an Elmo cake and a regular cake for everyone else. She LOVED ELMO! The more attention we gave her the messier she got.

THE BIG 30!

Lance is now the big 30! His birthday was on Thursday. I had so many great plans for his birthday that I could not get to pull through. I was super disappointed but I think he ended up having a great birthday.
THURSDAY: Meg made him a great birthday card all by herself from her and Ava. That night Lance and I went to dinner at Ruby River and then tried to shop a bit. We went to Evans, Target, the mall, and Sportsman's Warehouse. Lance is usually a great shopper, especially for himself, but he didn't want anything. Then he saw it, THE BODY PILLOW, and that is what he got for his 30th birthday. The pillow! SATURDAY: We had a big party at our house. We had Chili's fajitas and triple plays. The weather was so nice that the kids had a great time in the backyard. We have such amazing friends and family, thank you for all of your help.

MOAB

We went to Moab this weekend and had a fabulous time. The weather was pretty good but windy. The boys biked Amasaback and Sovereign. While the girls and kids swam, napped and cried! Our group was great, their were 6 couples and a ton of kids, most under 4.
We hiked to Delicate Arch in Arches on Sunday. Meg did really good. She hiked most of the way up by her self and then Lance carried her down about half way. Not to bad for a first timer. Ava did pretty good as well. She loved the pool and being outdoors with everyone. Lance keeps wondering why he has not been down there more.
Good people + Good weather + MOAB = Happiness....
