Summer Update

This summer has gone by soooo fast. Here is a bit of what we have been doing

MEG

Meg has been in swimming lessons the last month. She was in level 2 the first 2 weeks and then in level 3 the last two weeks. She has become a great little swimmer. All she wants to do is swim underwater with her goggles. I have been very impressed with how much she has learned and how good her teachers have been. She of course loves that her boys, Koda and Treyce, are swimming with her. Other than swim lessons she has been doing a ton of seven peaks, boating and playing outside.

AVA

Ava has become our little challenge. She is walking all over the place and is in to everything! The hardest part of it all is that she is such a whiner and loves to scream. I recently had to invest in some video monitors to find out what she really is doing or crying over without having to go into her room 10 times. She loves to hit, bite, throw things and loves to bug Meg. We are now the family who does not go to dinner or the movies and who leaves all social functions early to take our crazy child home. I am writing this so that I can look back and remember that I made it through this stage, hopefully. As naughty as she is, she is so darn cute and is finally snugging quite a bit and we all can't help but eat her up.

LANCE

Lance has been working and biking quite a bit but what has taken most of his time this last month is our new jeep. Lance bought it for me for mothers day. Although it was a fathers day combo present. We were going to have it painted when he decided he wanted to do it. He has done a great job and it looks really good. He also had it personalized, WHO WHO, which is what he calls me. This summer has been so busy for me but I love it. I have been running the canyon at 6 am with my running girls. I didn't think I would like getting up quite that early but I do, I crave it and I have a much better day. It is also nice to get in some no kid time and talk without having to edit everything. We meet at swim lessons at 10 then working, cleaning, playing and other mom stuff usually fill the rest of my time. Since Ava has come or maybe just the two kid thing, I am a caffeine junkie. I have recently discovered LOTS of Red Bull, Zip Fizz, Chai and anything else that will keep me going. My house is messier than normal, I still don't love to shower and get ready but I kind of like the crazy mom thing.

4TH OF JULY

For the 4Th Jenn came in for the weekend. Meg is always sooo excited to have her here. Friday we all went to Seven Peaks. It was really fun and we even got my dad to go. After we had a Barbe and watched fireworks at our house. The girls loved it. Saturday we registered for Kee and shopped a bit. That night we had take out and watched movies. It was nice to have a low key weekend and to just hang out.
